In order to further strengthen the fire safety awareness of all employees, enhance the emergency response capability for unexpected events, and effectively ensure the safety of employees' lives and property, our unit organized a fire emergency evacuation drill involving all employees on the afternoon of May 10.

---- Organize and carry out the 2024 fire emergency evacuation drill

In order to further strengthen the fire safety awareness of all employees, enhance the emergency response capabilities for sudden incidents, and effectively ensure the safety of employees' lives and property, our unit organized a fire emergency evacuation drill activity with full participation on the afternoon of May 10. This drill was themed "Prevention First, Life Above All" and simulated a real fire scene to test the scientificity, practicality, and departmental coordination of the emergency plan, laying a solid foundation for strengthening the unit's safety defense line.

Thorough deployment, scientific planning

Before the drill, the unit's safety committee established a special working group, which developed a detailed drill plan based on the structural characteristics of the office building and the distribution of personnel. The activity was divided into four stages: fire alarm, emergency evacuation, fire extinguishing practice, and injured personnel rescue. On May 10, all employees were organized to participate in fire safety knowledge training, focusing on escape techniques in a fire, the proper use of fire extinguishers, and CPR methods to ensure the drill was conducted safely and orderly.

Practical drill, tense and orderly

At 3 PM, as the fire alarm suddenly rang, the drill officially began. The monitoring center staff immediately activated the emergency plan upon discovering the "fire situation," and safety personnel on each floor quickly took their positions to guide the evacuation. All employees followed the escape principles of "bending down, covering the nose, and staying close to the wall" and quickly evacuated to the designated assembly point via the fire escape route, taking only 2 minutes and 45 seconds. During the evacuation, scenarios such as trapped personnel and injured personnel transfer were simulated, and the emergency rescue team successfully implemented rescues using stretchers and escape masks.

During the fire extinguishing practice, production manager Su Jian demonstrated the operation methods of dry powder fire extinguishers and fire hoses, with over 100 employees performing practical operations in batches. New employee Xiao Ma stated: "This is the first time I used a fire extinguisher myself, and I mastered the four key techniques of 'lift, pull, hold, and press.' I feel more confident in emergencies now."

Summarize experiences, strengthen defenses

In the summary speech, the unit's party secretary Ren Ren emphasized that safety work is always ongoing, and urged all departments to take this drill as an opportunity to continuously carry out safety hazard inspections, improve the emergency response mechanism, and ensure that "everyone talks about safety, and everyone knows how to respond to emergencies."

Through this immersive experience, all employees further mastered escape and self-rescue skills, tested the collaborative combat capabilities of multiple departments, and built a solid safety barrier for the unit's high-quality development. In the next phase, our unit will continue to promote the standardization of safety production, regularly conduct special emergency drills, and strive to create a safe and harmonious working environment.
